dropping infection as i run away knowing i had enough i tell you one thing, i swore it would end right here and now i'm fading with you it's not like it's so easy, it's not like i should let you go they resurrect me with you and i know it's not the way that it has to be even feeling destroys my brain and i'm finding it hard to release this pain so what if i'm the enemy? if i can't feel the things you feel it's not like i was ever real losing direction in the darkest day... no i'm not good enough i'd say the last thing but you just don't want to hear and yet i'm fading with you it's not like it's so easy it's not like i should let you go i wish for things that were never there just to see if you care for me it's not like i was ever real

about

This album is a reissue from the 2001 release of the same name. The first six songs were released as demos when I was still figuring out the whole process of writing, producing, recording, and singing. They may not be the best production wise but it was these songs that gained Era Nocturna a dedicated cult following on the interwebs worldwide in the early 2000s.

In the summer of 2019 I decided to revisit EN's most popular release on this album, "Resurrection," and bring it to a more current sound with new vocals, guitar, and some updated patches. I hope you'll like it!

"Seconds" and "Closed" were demos from 2005 that never made it to the finalist row for "Lackluster" but it seemed like a nice thing to include in this release.

Finally, I've received many requests to include some instrumentals from "Lackluster" on a future release. These were the most requested so... you ask, I deliver because I love you guys.

Thank you for your support and I'm looking forward to sharing "Rage of Angels" with you in 2020.

released November 12, 2019

All music is written, produced, and performed by Daeva Stark.
Spoken word on "Inside the Dream" was performed by Pixyblink.
"Beautiful Death," "If Only I Could," and "Inside the Dream" were mixed and mastered by Dr. Ohm of Heavenly Creatures.

This album was recorded at Hellhouse Studios in Metrowest MA. It's not a real place, it's just a clever name I gave my home studio. You don't need to look it up but you can hear my radio podcast "Hellhouse" which is where that name came from. ;-)

Special Thanks:
Poe, Maddie, Val and Mark, Kassie, Dr. Ohm, Allie and Morte, Skai and Lilith, Zara of Zara Lipstixx, Octavio, Shawn, Trish, Erik Gustafson, Eric Eldredge, DJ Luna Morte, Sven Friedrich and Solar Fake, Caligo, Jonnie Danger, Teemu Salo and Ten After Dawn, all in the Rage of Angels fan group, and anyone else that I'm not mentioning here because I'm super forgetful. Sorry!
